I almost forgot that there is a very good reason to celebrate today, as the backpackman has just become one year old.
One year ago today, I launched www.backpackman.blogspot.com. Recently I changed the name to www.thebackpackman.com, but the subject matter remains the same. I wasn't certain what exactly I was doing when I started blogging. But I've had some great fun and met some amazing bloggers.
I would like to thank my friend Roy of Abdul Hakeem for registering my Domain Name and for his generosity without him I could not be able to have my own domain.
It's grown somewhat a bit since then, with thousands of visitors each month, and I'd like to say thank you to my readers, friends and to each and every one of you for making that possible. Thank you for sharing my articles with your friends on Twitter and liking on my Facebook. Thank you for commenting on posts and sending some tips.
I hope that you will keep on reading this blog from time to time (kahit walang sense yong ibang post ko lol). I welcome any suggestions, articles or even guest bloggers to contact me here and even criticisms to make this blog better.
