From Manila, we rode the bus passed to Subic and finally to Olongapo. One of the popular landmarks located in downtown Olongapo City is Ulo ng Apo image . According to a legend stated in Wikipedia, Apo was assassinated by some who are opposed to his idea of peace between warring tribes in the area. A boy found Apo's decapitated head on top of a bamboo pole and run from village to village shouting "Olo nin!" or" Ulo ng Apo" in Tagalog. This is they got the name Olongapo.
After 4 hours trip, finally
Jhunnel and I met
Francei and
Vincent, they were really all mababait and we stayed at
By the Sea Resort Hotel for 1 day. The resort has its own restaurant and serves native and international foods that are prepared fresh for your taste and desires. I was totally amazed by the beauty of the place when I was here a nice place, great landscaping, clean surroundings, fantastic views and whole lot more. This resort was great place to unwind.
After our dinner we went to Willis Concert Bar, is a nice place to go for a few drinks. There are bands that will entertain you with good music as you sip with your favorite drink.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Olongapo. My former co-employees went there for a summer outing two years ago and a couple of them (who are my friends) told me that they enjoyed the place. The city's history is interesting too.
