Can any spot in Metro Manila still offer fresh air? The good news is that there still are. One of them is right smack where the midst of lush greenery still flourish. The Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Nature Center in Quezon City is an ideal place for families looking to spend a weekend outdoor activities.
This sanctuary serves as home to diverse species of plants and animals. The park is home to the Wildlife Rescue Center under the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau of the Department of the Environment. While the flora and fauna may not be as widespread as what can be found in places like other Zoo in Manila, the species there are still fascinating for one to check out.

Furthermore, the park also boasts orchards, shelters, and a large lagoon where one can even fish. The surroundings and the facilities has made the center a popular venue for gatherings, picnics, and photo shoots as well. Even health buffs like joggers and volleyball and badminton enthusiasts frequent it, especially in early mornings.
This Park is still worth a visit if you are looking a place where you can commune with nature. The tranquility of the place would be something that makes this place stand out among the remaining green place in the city.

I can't actually remember the last time that I've been to a sanctuary (nor a zoo for that matter haha) but this looks like a really neat place! It's a bit far to me, but I would keep this place in mind.
ReplyDeleteThis was one of my favorite places when I was a kid. My siblings and I would constantly nag our parents to bring us to 'Wi-life' whenever we're in the QC area.
